Three men have been collectively sentenced to 34-and-a-half years in prison for luring a 13-year-old girl off a London street and forcing her into a flat, where she was gang-raped.
On Friday, Paul Maxwell, 24, Kayon Vohra, 29, and Jeremiah Jackson, 24, were jailed for raping a 13-year-old girl last year.
The victim, whose identity is protected, traveled to London on September 30, 2023. Upon leaving Hammersmith tube station, she was encountered by three men and taken back to Maxwell's flat, where they all took turns raping the girl.
A combination of forensic evidence, CCTV footage showing the three men leaving a subway station with a 13-year-old boy, and a video of the rape filmed by one of the defendants led to the trio being brought to police. I was arrested.

In a statement read out in court, the teenager said: “I thought about that day a million times, thinking about what I could have done differently to change the outcome of what happened to me. No matter what I changed, it would have ended the same way. .

“I felt alone and vulnerable. But that shouldn't have mattered.”

Paul Maxwell was sentenced to 12 and a half years in prison, and Kayon Vohra and Jeremiah Jackson were sentenced to 11 years in prison.
In addition to prison terms, the three child rapists were given 15-year sexual harm prevention orders.
