Tragic Discovery in Washington
A recent report has brought to light disturbing details surrounding the tragic deaths of three young sisters whose bodies were discovered in Washington state.
Their father, Travis Decker, is currently at the center of a massive nationwide manhunt. Authorities are offering a reward of $20,000 for any information that could assist in his capture.
New insights have emerged from court documents as the search for Decker continues. As of Wednesday, he remains unaccounted for, as emphasized by Komo.
The sisters—Paityn, 9, Evelyn, 8, and Olivia, 5—were found near the banks of the Rock Island campground in Wenatchee on Monday evening. Preliminary investigations suggest that the girls “probably suffocated.” Interestingly, they were still wearing the same clothes they had on when they first disappeared on Friday after being seen with their father.
Police reiterated that Decker is still missing and is wanted on three counts of first-degree murder and suggestions of mental instability. He is believed to be living out of his white 2017 GMC Sierra Pickup Truck, which has a Washington license plate reading “D20165C.”
Authorities have urged anyone who might have encountered Decker since Friday, or who has knowledge of his location, to quickly contact 911 or call 509-667-6845.
“Don’t attempt to contact or approach Decker due to safety concerns,” police advised.
The girls’ bodies were located near their father’s truck, which reportedly has “two bloody handprints” on its back, according to police documents. The Chelan County Sheriff’s Office has announced they are collaborating with a former U.S. agent to track down Decker as the search efforts persist.
Anyone with information is encouraged to speak up.
