Tragic Discovery of Sisters Off Brighton Beach

Authorities have officially identified three sisters whose bodies were discovered in the sea near Brighton Beach last week. A heartbroken father has shared his condolences as police work to clarify the details surrounding their deaths.

Jane Adetoro, 36, Christina Walters, 32, and Rebecca Walters, 31, all hailing from Uxbridge, London, were found in the waters close to Blackrock car park during the early hours of Wednesday. The tragedy has deeply affected both the Brighton and London communities, prompting the sisters’ father to issue a heartfelt tribute describing them as “unique and precious.”

In his emotional statement, he expressed, “Today, it is with a heart full of sadness and love that I pay tribute to my beloved daughters, Jane, Christina, and Becky, whose lives were taken too soon and tragically.”

Authorities have assured that there is no indication of foul play or third-party involvement at this stage, yet detectives are conducting a thorough investigation to ascertain how the sisters ended up in the water. They are reviewing extensive CCTV footage to trace the women’s movements from Tuesday night to Wednesday morning.

Police are appealing to the public for any sightings of the sisters near Madeira Drive between 10 PM Tuesday and 5:30 AM Wednesday. Chief Superintendent Adam Hayes commented that the incident has significantly impacted the Brighton community and that they are committed to uncovering the cause of the sisters’ deaths.

Hayes reassured, “We will use all means in our investigation to understand exactly what led to the tragic events of Wednesday morning.” He also requested privacy for the Walters family during this trying time, emphasizing the focus on the families as they navigate this “horrible tragedy.”

Joseph, the sisters’ father, concluded his message with a touching homage to their spirits, saying, “Although you are no longer next to us, your spirit lives on in our hearts every day. A love like yours will never die. You will forever remain a part of our lives, our prayers, and our memories.”
