Three Unauthorized Individuals Taken into Custody for Suspectedly Killing a Man.

Three undocumented immigrants are accused of robbing and killing 47-year-old Alexandre Maudvaze in his home in Los Angeles County, California.

The suspects—38-year-old Paata Kochyashvili, 46-year-old Zaza Otarashvili, and 52-year-old Besiki Khutsishvili—are all originally from Georgia. They were charged with Maudvaze’s murder on April 26 by the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD).

According to reports, the three men allegedly broke into Maudvaze’s house, bound him, and assaulted him during the robbery.

Additionally, they are accused of disabling the home’s surveillance cameras before committing the crime.

One of the suspects had previously overstayed his B-2 tourist visa, as noted by Immigration Customs Enforcement (ICE). However, ICE was unable to take action due to California’s sanctuary policies.

Two other individuals had been detained and released at the US-Mexico border. One of them was supposed to check in with an ICE agent but failed to do so.

Kochyashvili, Otarashvili, and Khutsishvili are currently in LAPD custody with bail set at $2 million each.
