Disruption at Miami Airport Leads to Arrest of Three Women
In a recent incident, three women were filmed disrupting a Frontier Airlines flight at Miami International Airport, refusing to settle excess baggage charges. They were ultimately led away in handcuffs.
The women—Nafisa Dockery, 30, Dionjana Cochran, 21, and Davana Cochran, 26—each faced warnings and charges for trespassing and resisting an officer during the commotion that occurred late Sunday night.
Reports indicate that the women, waiting to board their flight to Philadelphia, were approached by an airline employee who pointed out they had not paid for an additional carry-on. When asked to step aside to resolve the issue, they declined, sparking a verbal confrontation.
The employee threatened to remove them from the plane if they continued to refuse payment. Dockery, despite facing potential battery charges, instructed her friends to disregard the warnings and proceeded to board the aircraft from a restricted area.
When deputies from the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office arrived, they were asked by the Frontier manager to escort the women off the plane as their boarding passes had been canceled. However, the women resisted removal, despite several stern warnings from the authorities.
As the situation escalated, all passengers were ordered to exit the plane. During this time, Dockery reportedly spat on another person, leading to further complications. The deputies instructed the trio to cooperate and put their hands behind their backs, but a struggle ensued.
A social media clip captures the chaotic scene, showcasing the women being taken away in cuffs and Davana making remarks to another passenger, who shouted back a sarcastic retort about prison.
Ultimately, the three women were transported to Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center, while the Frontier flight was delayed by an hour due to the incident. Inquiries were made to the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office for further details.
