Breitbart Editor-in-Chief and New York Times Bestseller defeat biden Author Alex Marlowe said Monday on the “America First” podcast that TikTok is a cancer for America.
“I think we can all agree that TikTok is harmful and evil and something has to be done about it,” host Sebastian Gorka said.
Ms. Marlowe said, “Yes, TikTok is evil and harmful and we have to do something about it. My position starts here. If you look at this, TikTok is not allowed in China. Not available. China has censored and banned this very type of content in their country, which is the most visible content on TikTok. This kind of viral entertainment is a huge distraction, and Breitbart calls it digital fentanyl. I’m here.”
He continued, “In China, social media rewards accomplishments, accomplishments, etc. In America, TikTok highlights some of the worst things imaginable. It’s not just entertainment, all of this is used by children. Our generation is the most depressed generation that is addicted to cell phones. I call it scrolling osis. They scroll all day long. I keep doing it. It’s terrible.”
Marlow added: “This company, ByteDance, has American investors, including conservatives who are currently lobbying politicians. They want to keep this the way it is. The bottom line is TikTok. is that we have to start from the first premise, that is the cancer of our republic and that we have to find a way to deal with it.”
