Tim Tebow Continues Leading Fight for Rescuing Sexually Exploited Children

The Tim Tebow Foundation continues its mission to rescue sexually exploited and at-risk children.

“For too long, child sexual exploitation has remained hidden in the dark corners of the internet – an evil that has destroyed so many children’s lives,” Tim Tebow, founder and chairman of the Tim Tebow Foundation, said in a statement.

“This year’s campaign is called ‘Unknown and Unfinished’ because while we are grateful for the momentum we gained last year, there are still hundreds of thousands of boys and girls who live in despair,” he said, adding, “This year, we ask you to continue this fight with us to reach, protect and love every child waiting to be identified and rescued.”

“Law enforcement agencies currently identify over 500,000 IP addresses around the world actively trafficking in child sexual abuse material … images and videos of children under the age of 12 being abused, raped and tortured,” Tebow said in a post on Tuesday. His Facebook page.

“The majority of these offenders commit crimes directly against children in their own homes and even within their own communities. To make matters worse, these offenders have an average of 13 victims,” he said.

Tebow maintained that he believes that if caring people “stand together in solidarity,” they can make a dramatic difference in the lives of boys and girls if they all work together to address the horrific reality of child abuse like this.

The unKNOWN & unFINISHED campaign, both nationally and globally, focuses on:

  • SafeguardsExpand global rescue efforts to identify, locate and rescue as many children as possible who are being sexually abused and exploited.
