Demi Tebow Shares Insights on Finding Self-Worth
Demi Tebow, wife of Tim Tebow, is sharing what she calls “bite-sized truths” aimed at helping people recognize their self-worth and personal values during challenging times. In a conversation, she discussed her latest project, featuring 100 days of prayer and her journey of self-discovery.
Demi mentioned that many people today may struggle with self-doubt, often seeking validation in the wrong places. She emphasized that the Bible offers reassuring truths, saying, “I relied on going back to the truth” throughout her own experiences.
“The way Jesus loves us and has a unique plan for each of our lives has been particularly comforting during my moments of frustration,” she reflected. Demi and Tim welcomed their first child, Daphne, in August, and Demi noted that witnessing her child’s growth has reshaped her understanding of life. It’s a learning experience, she said, in a way that’s both beautiful and, well, quite humbling.
“It’s really easy to lean on what others think of us, or what social media presents. However, God’s love for us remains constant,” she expressed.
She and Tim have been praying for Daphne, hoping she follows the path God has for her. “I want her to understand that she has a perfect plan in her life,” Demi shared.
Having written her book while pregnant, she was inspired to dedicate much of her work to her daughter. “I find myself thinking, what will her interests be? I can only hope to guide her well,” she admitted, contemplating the balance of influence in a world filled with external opinions.
Demi, who gained fame as the Miss Universe in 2017, understands the transient nature of external accolades. Quoting a passage about not chasing after temporary rewards, she noted that while she once wore the crown, its significance is fleeting.
“We have the power to create lasting impressions on others,” she reflected. “I really hope this book inspires readers to look inward and appreciate their eternal impact,” she concluded, highlighting the importance of living in alignment with one’s genuine calling.
Through her journey, Demi believes that by reflecting the greatness of God, we can truly uncover who we really are.
