Tim Walz Caught Lying to Kamala Harris About Taco Seasoning

Minnesota Governor Tim Walz (D) was caught lying during an interview with Vice President Kamala Harris that didn’t discuss any actual policy topics but instead focused on topics like Walz enjoying “white man tacos,” which he apparently lied about as well.

Walz continues to face questions about lying about his military service, continues to lie on the campaign trail, claims he believes people should “blame others for others,” yet is now being accused of lying about something else when he has done the exact opposite with his leadership during the COVID-19 pandemic.

In a bizarre, policy-ignoring interview, Walz told Harris he likes “white people’s tacos.”

“I eat white man tacos,” he said.

Harris, a self-described “hip-hop girl,” seemed confused and asked if her tacos were made with “mayonnaise and tuna.”

“It’s mostly ground beef and cheese,” Waltz said.

“It’s fine. Do you want any flavorings?” Harris asked.

“No, they said to let her know that in Minnesota, black pepper is the hottest level,” Walz said, trying to pitch himself as a bland, baby boomer white man compared to the presidential candidate.

“You know, I think I’m the first vice president to grow chili peppers,” Harris replied, later telling Waltz, “We have cantaloupes, so we’re OK.”

“Look, I’m not a big fan of spice,” Waltz wrote on social media, sharing the video.

That statement would make more sense if Waltz hadn’t won a recipe contest in 2016 for a Turkey Taco Tot hot dish that had more spice than just pepper.

Waltz, who won the Minnesota Congressional Delegation Hot Dish Contest in 2016, also wanted the world to know about it, and shared his recipe on social media in 2022. There seems to be more to this taco dish than just “beef and cheese.” In addition, it is full of many ingredients and spices that can add a little heat. For example, the recipe uses chili powder, paprika, onion powder, and garlic powder, and Waltz claims that he “doesn’t like spicy food.” The recipe also uses mild green chilies and medium (not mild) taco sauce, which again shows that Waltz was trying to project a different, bland persona during his interview with Harris.

So Tim Walz lied about going to war, lied about abandoning his men in Iraq, lied about his military rank, lied about driving while drunk, and now he’s been caught red-handed lying to Kamala about the seasoning of his food?” Donald Trump Jr. pointed out.

The revelation seems minor at first glance, but it comes as the media-shy Waltz faces a series of questions about more serious matters, including lying about his military service and his 1995 arrest for drunk driving.
