Tim Walz Going on Tour of Republican House Districts, Tells Americans to ‘Fight’ Trump

Tim Waltz, a failed 2024 vice presidential candidate, has launched a tour of National City Hall in the Republican-controlled House district and told CNN he wants to tell President Donald Trump that “they can mobilize to fight back.”

Waltz, a former US lawmaker who has served as Minnesota governor since 2019. I said This week, we've said that Kamala Harris's job as former vice president hasn't finished.

City Hall events are already scheduled for Iowa's Third Congressional District on Friday and Nebraska's Second Congressional District on Saturday, so Walz told CNN:

“It was about these Republican representatives realizing that these kinds of things are really unpopular, so they're going to quit City Hall,” he said. “These people need to hear. Democratic leadership needs to hear them to be heard and be open with you.”

Politics It has been reported Rep. Richard Hudson (R-NC), chairman of the House GOP's campaign division, told his colleague in late February to stop holding in-person town halls in a liberal backlash against the Trump administration's cuts in federal spending.

So did Hudson's request. Appeal The Breitbart News reported that he was “paid” to protest in Republican districts and that he was “paid” to protest in Republican districts.

Waltz is planning more city hall stops in Wisconsin, Minnesota and Ohio in the near future, with more horizons reportedly increasing.

“There was a primitive cry of people who saw what was going on with the Trump administration, their authoritarian tendencies, and what they saw as a lack of proper response from their representatives,” he told CNN on Wednesday.

In a post on X later that night, the governor of Minnesota wrote, “I go out on the road and travel to red states across the country to lend megaphones to people.”

“Your Congressman may not want to hear, but I'm going to hear from us anyway,” added Waltz.

In a statement to CNN, he said he would tell Republican district members that “this doesn't have to be,” and he was referring to the Trump administration's moves as an example.

“I'm going to say how they can mobilize to fight back, which is the way I think is the most effective way, and I fully hope that they will tell you the way they're looking for,” Walz added.
