The owner of Time magazine has criticized Vice President Kamala Harris for turning down multiple interview requests with prominent publications as her White House campaign enters its final touches.
Marc Benioff, who has owned Time magazine since 2018, said Sunday that former President Donald Trump and President Biden (before he resigned) both sat down for interviews during the campaign, pointing out that Democratic candidates criticized.
Benioff, best known as the founder of Salesforce.com, said: “Unlike other presidential candidates, Time magazine has not been granted an interview with Kamala Harris, despite repeated requests.” he tweeted.
“We believe in transparency and are publishing each interview in full. Why isn't the Vice President engaging with the public at the same level? #TrustIssues #TransparencyIssues #Leadership.”
Harris' profile says: Published online on Friday, A Time magazine reporter noted that Trump spoke to Time for 90 minutes in two interviews, and that Biden spoke with the magazine for a similar amount of time.

Last week, Harris chose to appear on The View, the raunchy podcast Call Her Daddy, The Howard Stern Show, and The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. Among the many talk shows and podcasts hosted by comedians, the vice president only appeared on one serious news program last Monday, “60 Minutes.''
In August, she took the time to write a glowing profile of the presidential candidate, even though she declined to give interviews to the publication at the time.
The latest polls suggest that Harris is losing momentum against Trump with Election Day about three weeks away.
