Wednesday is a busy night WNBA Ten of the league's 12 teams will be participating. Here is the full fixture list, including playoff implications.
The Connecticut Sun (22-7) will face the Indiana Fever (14-16) at 7 p.m. ET.
The Suns are on a three-game winning streak and will be looking to build on their momentum from Saturday night's win over the Liberty to secure a win as the race for the No. 2 seed heats up. Minnesota has won six straight and is just half a game behind the Suns.
Caitlin Clark's Fever is fresh off a big win over the Dream to extend their lead for the No. 7 seed to 2.5 games, and Indiana is 0-3 against Connecticut this season so will be looking to make a run at division play against one of the league's best defenses.
The Washington Mystics (8-22) will travel to Chicago to take on the Sky (11-18) at 8 p.m. ET.
The Mystics have won two straight games for the first time this season, and Brittney Sykes is showing off her talents, while the Sky are looking to defend the final playoff spot with 11 games remaining. They are currently one game behind the Dream, but… No Chennedy Carter He will miss tonight's game due to health and safety protocols, a crucial one for Chicago, who are coming off a two-point loss to the A's.
Other things to note: Angel Reese has grabbed 20+ rebounds in three straight games, will that streak continue tonight?
The New York Liberty (26-5) will face the Los Angeles Sparks (6-24) at 10 p.m. ET.
The Liberty have been the best team in the WNBA all season and the Sparks are riding a league-worst seven-game losing streak, so this game should be a win for New York, but anything can happen in a basketball game.
Of note, Sabrina Ionescu has struggled since returning from a brief absence due to a neck injury, making just eight of her last 30 shots, and Liberty fans will want to see her play tonight as she slowly works her way back into the game.
The Atlanta Dream (10-19) will visit the Seattle Storm (18-11) at 10 p.m. ET.
The Dream finished the Olympics with three straight wins, including a game-winning goal by Tina Charles, but then lost two straight, a setback for a team trying to catch up with the Sky. The Dream and Sky are separated by just one game, and with a Dream win and a Sky loss tonight, Atlanta could be tied with Chicago.
The Storm, meanwhile, have lost three of four games and were frustrated after Monday's loss to the Mystics, when Skylar Diggins-Smith, in an expletive-filled rant, called the loss unacceptable.
The Minnesota Lynx (22-8) will travel to Phoenix to take on the Mercury (16-15) at 10 p.m. ET.
The Lynx are riding a league-best six-game winning streak and will look to keep the momentum going tonight in Phoenix. The Mercury have hovered around a .500 win rate all season and are 3-3 since the Olympic hiatus.
Phoenix is just 1.5 games behind Indiana for the No. 6 seed and is closing in on the No. 5 seed.
