Tom Brady and Bridget Moynahan’s breakup is coming back to haunt him.
Nikki Glazer addressed the athletes’ 2006 breakup during an appearance on Netflix’s “The Roast of Tom Brady” on Sunday.
“Tom, you’re the best that’s ever played in a long time. I know you retired and came back and then retired,” the 39-year-old comedian said. “It’s hard to walk away from something that isn’t a pregnant girlfriend.”
She continued, “To be fair, he didn’t know. He just thought she was fat.”
Glazer’s comments refer to Brady, 46, and Moynahan, 53, who infamously called off their marriage before she discovered she was pregnant with son Jack, now 16.
By the time the news she was expecting broke, the seven-time Super Bowl champion had terminated his contract with Gisele Bündchen.
He married his girlfriend, a 43-year-old model, and they had two more children, Benjamin (14) and Vivian (11), before divorcing in 2022.

“It felt like my world had been turned upside down,” she recalls. “Needless to say, it wasn’t an easy time. But it was also a time of great growth.”
As for Moynahan, the “Blue Bloods” star, who is now married to Andrew Frankel, felt she was under scrutiny from the press at the time.
“Pregnancy and childbirth are deeply personal and intimate moments,” she wrote in 2019’s Our Shoes, Our Selves, noting that the public attention “felt like a threat.”
Moynahan and Brady have been co-parenting Jack ever since, and their “roller coaster” experience has influenced Bundchen’s own strategy for raising Benjamin and Vivian after their separation.
“We’re not playing against each other,” she said. explained to Vanity Fair magazine. “We’re a team and that’s great.”
The businessman regularly refers to Jack as his “bonus kid.”
His relationship with Brady was also mentioned during the weekend roast, with Kevin Hart teasing his romance with Jiu-Jitsu instructor Joaquin Valente.
