Tom Brady Gets Approved By NFL Owners To Purchase Minority Stake In Las Vegas Raiders

It’s official! Tom Brady is a Sin City hierarchy!

NFL legend Tom Brady received approval Tuesday from team owners in a vote to allow him to buy a minority stake in the Las Vegas Raiders, a decision that he labels as “a blessing to know I’ll be involved in the greatest league in the world for the rest of my life.”

“Throughout my NFL career, I’ve learned that at its core, football is a game of teamwork, resilience, and a relentless pursuit of excellence,” said Brady in a statement published on Twitter. “The Raiders franchise, and the city of Las Vegas embody these same values, and I’m honored to become part of that story.” (RELATED: Amari Cooper Freed From Browns, Shipped To Bills)

Due to Brady‘s gig at Fox as a broadcaster, Raiders majority owner Mark Davis didn’t give any additional details regarding what the former quarterback’s role will be with his franchise.

Also, because of Brady’s job, he won’t be allowed to meet with players and coaches who he’s covering, he’s not permitted to be in another organization’s facility and he can’t view practices.

There were only three cities that would have worked out for Tom Brady in regards to owning a franchise: Los Angeles, Miami and Las Vegas.

Yeah, you could make the argument that he could’ve also bought a portion of the New England Patriots, but at this point in Brady’s life, he wants that warm and flashy city franchise. That was evident when he went to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to close out his career.

And with Vegas being my second favorite city behind the Trey, I’m all for it.
