In comments that have since been deleted, Smalls reportedly referred to Swanepoel as a “backstabber” on social media and accused her of breaching “girl code.” She expressed feelings of betrayal, stating something along the lines of, “There’s no going back. Some people lack humility and a moral compass.”
Smalls went on to express her frustration further, mentioning how the way they treat each other can be incredibly disrespectful, especially considering their long friendship.
A representative for Swanepoel later claimed that she has always been private about her personal life, highlighting that her focus remains on raising her children. The representative noted that the friendship between Candice and Joan is one that Swanepoel will continue to respect.
Meanwhile, connections to Brady seem to mark the latest in a string of high-profile relationships since his divorce from supermodel Gisele Bündchen, finalized in October 2022 after a 13-year marriage. The former couple shares two children and Brady also has a son from a previous relationship.
