A court filing Friday revealed that Tony Bobulinski, a former business associate of Mr. Biden, is suing U.S. Rep. Dan Goldman (D-N.Y.) for defamation.
Bobulinski is Hunter Biden’s former business partner and “tycoon” then-Vice President Joe Biden will acquire a 10% stake in CEFC China Energy Company, which has close ties to the Chinese Communist Party. He claimed it was planned. (Communist Party of China).
The lawsuit revolves around a post on X in March in which Goldman claimed that Bobulinski made “false allegations” with the help of a Trump-affiliated lawyer.
“Tony Bobulinski has been using lawyers paid by the Trump campaign to make false claims since October 2020,” Goldman alleged.

Mr. Bobulinski’s lawyer previously told Goldman: “Your statement that Mr. Bobulinski lied to federal investigators and Congress, as if it were a fact, is itself defamatory. This is unacceptable,” he warned.

Mr. Goldman declined to be removed from his post.
Bobulinski, meanwhile, filed a complaint against Democrats on Friday.suit read:
The defendant knowingly lied solely to serve his own political purpose. This is to defame Bobulinski’s character and defend Joseph Biden.defendant’s These claims are patently false and defamatory. Bobulinski demanded: Complete retraction and deletion of posts made on X (formerly Twitter) in March 26, 2024, the defendant completely ignored this. Therefore, Bobulinski argues that: The defendant is responsible for telling malicious lies.
Mr. Goldman made the allegedly defamatory remarks during a Congressional hearing, and Mr. Bobulinski testified during a closed session of the House impeachment inquiry in February that Hunter Biden and James Biden had perjured themselves.
