Top Democratic super PAC launches massive $50M ad spend for Harris leading up to DNC

A leading Democratic super PAC has launched a major ad buy in several battleground states to boost Vice President Kamala Harris’s case for the presidential nomination ahead of next month’s Democratic Convention in Chicago.

Future Forward, the largest Democratic super PAC, announced this week that it would spend $50 million supporting Harris in six states over the next three weeks ahead of the party convention in Chicago, The Washington Post reported.

Additionally, the outlet reported that American Bridge 21st Century, the Democratic Party’s second-largest independent advocacy group, will begin running ads in the key battleground state of Michigan on Friday.

Additionally, Women Vote, part of the Emily’s List network, announced Thursday that it would spend $2 million to target young women in four battleground states.

“We’re ready to do everything in our power to make sure voters know that Kamala Harris is a president who will fight for them,” Future Forward president Chauncey MacLean told The Washington Post on Thursday.

“She’s focused on improving the lives of all Americans, whereas Donald Trump is only focused on himself.”

Republicans, believe me: Kamala Harris is a strong candidate. Don’t underestimate her.

David Axelrod, a former top adviser to President Barack Obama, called the move a “major development.”

“Pro-Harris super PACs are launching major buyouts in battleground states, with initial spots highlighting her fight as district attorney, attorney general and vice president,” Axelrod said. Posted in X.

“Air coverage is essential, especially as the Trump campaign spends money negatively targeting her.”

One ad portrays Harris as “the district attorney who protected children from sex predators” and “the attorney general who took on big banks to protect homeowners — and won.”

The Washington Post reported that MAGA also plans to spend $32 million going after Harris before Labor Day, bringing the company’s total spending for the period to $72 million.

Fox News Digital reached out to the Trump campaign for comment but did not immediately receive a response.

A new poll compiled after Biden dropped out of the race showed Trump and Harris tied in the key battleground state of Michigan, despite former President Biden previously holding a nearly double-digit lead.

National polls have shown mixed results, with some showing a tie and others showing one candidate with a slight lead.

A new New York Times/Siena College poll released this week found Trump leading Harris by just one percentage point among likely voters, 48% to 47%, and Trump leading Harris by 2 percentage points among registered voters.
