Tori Spelling Shares Her Perspective on Charlie Sheen

Tori Spelling recently opened up about her experiences with Charlie Sheen following his revelations in his memoir, The Book of Sheen. On September 22nd, during an episode of her podcast, she reflected on her memories, particularly focusing on Sheen’s drug use and a specific incident involving their mutual friend, Kevin.

Spelling recounted a time when, while living in Wilshire, Kevin, who was then friends with Sheen, informed her that “Charlie wants to ask you on a date.” She admits feeling nervous about the situation and arranged for Kevin and his parents to join them for the date, which she described as somewhat awkward but endearing.

As she reminisced, Spelling noted that their brief time together brought back positive memories, even though there were darker moments. One such moment involved a phone call from Kevin urging her to come over to Sheen’s place, where he was allegedly hosting a party. She arrived to find Sheen in possession of a crack pipe, which he jokingly attempted to offer to her and her friends.

“He thought it was funny, and I just laughed,” Spelling recalled, describing the atmosphere as chaotic and shocking — “dark and there were bodies everywhere.” Despite the offer, she firmly declined, responding with, “‘No, thank you.'” When Sheen pressed on, suggesting they had all kinds of drugs available, she maintained her stance, which seemed to leave Sheen disinterested.

Spelling also shared an awkward moment when Kevin asked her if she would help him hide Sheen, which she found implausible. “I knew it was a bad idea, considering the headlines at the time,” she remembered. “I thought I’d just be an accomplice.” She firmly told Kevin, “‘Are you kidding me? No, I’m not doing that.'” Sheen later reflected on this in his memoir, commenting that Spelling seemed uncomfortable with the situation he had put her in.

While their relationship was short-lived — ultimately just a few dates in the ’90s — it was complicated by the chaos surrounding Sheen’s lifestyle. Following their brief fling, Sheen married model Donna Peel, actress Denise Richards, and later Brooke Mueller, with whom he had a tumultuous series of relationships.
