Tori Spelling Addresses Recent Car Accident

Tori Spelling has shared her experience following a car accident that resulted in her, along with her four children, being hospitalized just before the Easter weekend.

In a video posted on April 2, the 52-year-old actress, known for her role in “Beverly Hills, 90210,” updated her followers on her and her children’s condition after the incident. “I took my time sharing this because I wanted to connect with all of you. A few days before Easter, in Temecula, my kids, three of their friends, and I were in a car accident. Thankfully, we’re okay, though it was quite shocking,” she explained.

Spelling expressed her gratitude, saying her family “could have faced a much worse outcome, so we feel incredibly lucky.” She described the crash, mentioning that the driver who collided with them was speeding and likely ran a red light. Reflecting on the event, she said, “Our guardian angel was truly with us that day as I saw the car coming towards us just before it hit. I swerved left to minimize the impact on the kids, which sent us spinning.”

She also thanked the “first responders at the scene” and the medical staff who cared for them in the emergency room. After sharing her gratitude, she acknowledged everyone who reached out and offered support, saying, “I’m so thankful for all the love and blessings sent our way. I appreciate the strength of all the kids in the car as well.”

Deputies responded to the crash around 6 p.m. on that Thursday, finding Spelling, her children, and their friends in need of medical evaluation. They were taken to the hospital in three separate ambulances. No arrests were made, and the investigation into the accident is ongoing.

The Riverside Sheriff’s Department detailed that they arrived at the crash site to find two vehicles with collision damage and all occupants medically evaluated at that time. While Spelling has five children with her ex-husband Dean McDermott, it’s unclear which of them were with her during the accident.
