Tori Spelling’s marriage to Dean McDermott hit a breaking point before divorce: ‘I f—ing lost it’

Tori Spelling has opened up about her divorce from her husband of 18 years, Dean McDermott.

On Friday, Fox News Digital confirmed that Spelling had filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences with McDermott as the reason for the divorce.

MissSPELLING was the first to apply, and in her new podcast, “missSPELLING,” she begins to process the drastic changes that have occurred in her life.

While discussing her and McDermott’s relationship, she also called him to let him know that news of their divorce had become public.

McDermott calls back during the podcast, but only Spelling’s side of the conversation can be heard.

It’s clear they’re talking about the optics of her application first, and she explains to him and the listeners why she did it.

“So I think it’s only natural that I should be the first to make the accusation. You basically published everything in the Daily Mail. “Dean and I had a fairytale romance. We were both married when we met, but it wasn’t a fairytale,” Spelling admitted. “But we had other partners who cheated and broke up, but then we got back together.”

She added: “It shouldn’t have been 18 years. He would say the same thing.”

The “90210” alum also spoke about “red flags” she saw in McDermott, including “his temper fueled by alcohol.”

The couple married in 2006 and have five children: Liam, Finn, Beau, Stella and Hattie.

The mother of five admitted that she considered leaving home several times after having several children, but never did.
