He said he was assaulted after being moved from Newcastle Correctional Facility, where he was in special custody, to an Indiana men’s prison.

“Now, President Trump, and we won’t even get in trouble because of the f**king you overtake,” one assailant is said to have told Cordelione.

He argues that Trump’s rhetoric has promoted discrimination between prison guards and officials.

“I’ve seen your news, and personally I don’t think US taxpayers have to pay for your surgery.” “God doesn’t approve of transgender or gay, so what do you think will happen when you’re dressed like a woman and have a t** in a man’s facility?”

An ACLU spokesman praised the 2023 ruling as a civil rights victory.

“Today we’re a huge victory for transgender individuals in Indiana prisons,” said Ken Falk at the time. “It is unconstitutional to deny evidence-based medical care to those imprisoned just because they are transgender. I’m pleased that the court agreed.”

A 13-page lawsuit was filed on April 1st.
