New Campaign Pushes for FBI to Label Transgender Ideology as Domestic Terrorism
A recent surveillance project has initiated a campaign urging the FBI to categorize transgender ideology, motives, and extremism as a form of domestic terrorism. Mike Howell, the project’s president, expresses skepticism regarding the need for such a move at this point.
“This trend is alarmingly pervasive in American society now. Violence and extremism associated with transgender ideology have become domestic terrorism,” Howell stated during an appearance on “Blaze News: The Mandate.”
In discussing this issue, Howell suggests it might be helpful to look back a decade.
“When Trump was running for office, one of his key criticisms of Obama was his failure to use the phrase ‘radical Islamic extremism.’ Trump relentlessly challenged him on this,” Howell explained.
He further recounted that Trump’s message was essentially, “if you cannot identify your enemy, you can’t defeat them.”
“Today, there’s another adversary in the mix. It has become evident that transgender ideology is fueling a specific type of domestic terrorism,” he added.
This observation is underscored by recent school shootings and the assassination of Charlie Kirk.
Howell cited colleague Roger Severino’s estimate that about 50% of school mass shootings in the last ten years have involved individuals motivated by transgender ideology. He believes these individuals often don’t recognize the physical threat they pose, irrespective of their gender identity or beliefs.
“In their distorted and harmful thought processes, they seem to rationalize their violent actions against others,” he noted.
