Transport Secretary Sean Duffy announced that the government's Office of Efficiency (DOGE) would work on upgrading the aviation system and fought back against former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton after weighing her.
“Big News – We spoke with the Doge team. They're going to plug in to upgrade our aviation systems,” Duffy said in an X post.
“They have no related experience. Most of them are not old enough to rent a car. And you'll give them the safety of the airline that's already deteriorated with your watch,” Clinton said. Are you going to ruin it?”
Duffy fought back against Clinton, a Democrat who lost to Donald Trump in the 2016 presidential election.
“Madame's secretary, with all respect, is the reason why our country's infrastructure is falling apart, with all his respect, and “experienced” Washington bureaucrats. We need to sit this down,” declared Duffy.
Business tycoon Elon Musk, who is leading Doge's efforts to uncover government waste, fraud and abuse, has said that the team will be trying to quickly implement “safety upgrades to air traffic control systems.” It has been shown.
“With the support of President @RealdonaldTrump, the @Doge team aims to increase the speedy safety of the air traffic control system. Just a few days ago, the FAA's major aircraft safety notification system failed for several hours!” pointed out in a post when responding to Duffy's announcement.
Someone answered the mask and said, “My brother first developed a way to accurately navigate an airline by GPS 45 years ago. He had long ago expected an automated air traffic system. Now it's time to do that. Remove the 75-year-old ATC radar. Place all the planes on a 3D map. All the paths go straight to landing.”
Musk replied, noting that he agreed.
The exchange comes after a series of fatal aviation incidents in the United States last week. This includes the military helicopter and passenger jet near the Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) and the Learjet 55 Medeback jet crashed in Philadelphia. Kill at least 7 people.
