Travelers Championship prize money payout: Scottie Scheffler earns astonishing $3.6 million check

Scottie Scheffler defeated Tom Kim on Sunday in the Travelers Championship at TPC River Highlands to win his sixth PGA Tour title since Jan. 1.

He has officially won four of the eight signature events at Travelers, with the former University of Texas Longhorn’s other two wins being the Players Championship in 2024 and his second Masters in three years.

With the win, Scheffler took home a check for $3.6 million. Total 2024 The total came to $27,696,858.

He continues to improve on the single-season record, and with the British Open and FedEx Cup playoffs coming up, it’s unclear what the final total will be.

Scheffler has earned roughly $23 million since winning his first signature event at the Arnold Palmer Invitational on March 10.

Kim came in second to one of his best friends and also won $2.6 million in prize money, while Tony Finau, Patrick Cantlay, Justin Thomas and Akshay Bhatia shared fifth place and won $702,500 each.
