Travis Kelce mocked his brother Jason Kelce for wearing a shirt that was too small for him during his “Monday Night Countdown” debut.
The former Philadelphia Eagles player, 36, ESPN host Scott Van Pelt introducesexplained that the retired athlete was wearing a white button-down shirt he bought “today at the mall” because he had forgotten his travel bag.
“I've lost some weight so it fits my belly better, but my chest still hurts,” Jason replied, trying to hide the exposed chest from his dress shirt.
Travis, 34, poked fun at his brother's gaffe, writing in the Instagram comments section of the ESPN video: “Surprised you didn't go shirtless after buying a new one.”
The tight end seemed to be alluding to when Jason took off his shirt to celebrate Travis' touchdown during the Kansas City Chiefs vs. Buffalo Bills game in January.
Travis' girlfriend Taylor Swift was left stunned during the iconic moment Jason jumped from the VIP suite onto the stands at Highmark Stadium.
While the “Lover” songstress supported Jason, his wife, Kylie Kelsey, tried to take control of the situation, telling the former professional football player, [his] “Come back.”
Travis found out about his brother's actions shortly after the game and told Westwood One Sports he was “not surprised.” [him] “Not at all.”
“I love the guy, and whenever we're not on the field together we cheer each other on,” he said with a smile.
At the time, Jason watched his brother's first game of the 2022-2023 season after the Eagles lost to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the playoffs.
Jason also cheered on Travis alongside Swift and her A-list crew at the 2024 Super Bowl, when the Chiefs beat the San Francisco 49ers in Las Vegas.
In March, the father of three announced he was retiring from the NFL after 13 seasons.
