Travis Kelce unveils collaboration with American Eagle a day after Swift's engagement

Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s New Venture

Travis Kelce’s engagement to Taylor Swift became public just a day ago, and it’s already making waves in the business world. His lifestyle brand, Tru Kolors, is set to launch a new design partnership with American Eagle, as announced on Wednesday.

Kelce expressed excitement about the collaboration, stating, “It was a great opportunity to team up with an established brand that is excited to truly collaborate on all the design and creative process decisions that made the ‘AE X TK’ collection.”

Interestingly, American Eagle has recently stirred both controversy and interest with a series of ads featuring actress Sidney Sweeney. One particular campaign, titled “Sydney Sweeney is Great Jeans,” triggered some backlash due to its clever play on words that led to misconstrued accusations related to eugenics.

Despite the criticisms, the company’s market performance seems to tell a different story—its stock has seen an increase. Kelce, who, amidst this engagement buzz, has been actively promoting the brand, participated in the rollout of the new advertisements that include other well-known athletes like Olympic gymnast Suni Lee and tennis star Anna Frey.

Kelce’s brother, Jason, even chimed in to congratulate them both on the engagement, humorously remarking, “f— yeah.” The excitement around this new partnership seems to reflect not just personal milestones but also a promising commercial venture ahead.
