Imagine bumping into Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence at a bar. Sounds fun, right? Well, that’s exactly what happened for a fan named Natasha Lane, who gained attention on social media for a viral video. In it, she’s seen doing squats with Lawrence on her back at Pete’s Bar in Neptune Beach, Florida.
This playful moment took place shortly after the Jaguars dominated the Titans with a 41-7 victory, securing the AFC South title. Lane had approached the towering 6-foot-6, 220-pound quarterback, proposing the unusual challenge of squatting with him.
“His reaction was pretty surprising,” Lane, a Navy veteran, shared. She mentioned it took “a bit of persuasion” to convince him to go along with it.
“He looked at me and asked if I was serious, and I said, ‘I’m really serious,’” she recalled.
For the fun interaction, Lawrence was casually dressed in a hat, athletic attire, and sneakers. Additionally, he was happy to pose for a photo with Lane, who later posted about the experience, calling it “a dream come true.”
The Jaguars even chimed in on social media, jokingly asking if the moment was AI-generated. The NFL joined in the fun too, declaring, “He’s a legend.”
In that game against the Titans, Lawrence set a new franchise record for total touchdowns in a season. He completed 22 of 30 passes for 255 yards, played impressively, and received a diamond-encrusted mouse grill from teammates in celebration.
With a record of 13-4, Jacksonville is now headed to the playoffs as the No. 3 seed in the AFC. This marks their first playoff appearance since the 2022 season, during which they were eliminated by the Chiefs.
