PHILADELPHIA — Brock Lesnar is still a part of WWE, unlike Vince McMahon.
Lesnar, a 10-time WWE world champion, was involved in a bombshell sexual assault and sex trafficking federal lawsuit filed against McMahon by former WWE employee Janelle Grant in January. ‘s status has become unclear.
The Wall Street Journal reported Lesnar, 46, is the anonymous wrestler mentioned in the lawsuit, and it is alleged that McMahon sent requested explicit photos and videos of Grant to Renser.
Although his name is not listed in the complaint, the paper confirmed that he is the “world-renowned athlete and former UFC heavyweight champion” mentioned in the text.
WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque was asked about Lesnar’s status with the company after Night 1 of WrestleMania 40 at Lincoln Financial Field on Saturday, and he announced Lesnar’s suspension. He said it was not officially over.
“At some point, a long time ago, I had a conversation with Brock about the Royal Rumble,” Triple H said. “Right now Brock is home as Brock, and let’s see where it leads from here. The status is the same as before. Brock hasn’t left WWE, he’s just gone home as Brock. .”

She also accused McMahon in her lawsuit of forcing her to have a sexual relationship in order to keep her job.
Mr. McMahon resigned as TKO’s executive chairman days after the lawsuit became public, calling Mr. Grant’s claims baseless, “a salacious fabrication full of lies,” and “a persistent distortion of the truth.” I denied it.
UFC and WWE merged into Endeavor-owned TKO Group in September 2023 at a valuation of $21.4 billion.
After news of the lawsuit broke, Lesnar seemed to be distancing himself from WWE.
He was reportedly scheduled to appear at the Royal Rumble, but ultimately did not appear and was replaced by Bron Breaker. According to the Wrestling Observer.
WWE then began removing him from some of their content.
Lesnar was left off the cover of the “40 Years of WrestleMania” special edition of the new WWE 2K24 video game, and like McMahon, he is not a playable character in the core game. However, you can still play as Lesnar in the 40 Years of WrestleMania Showcase mode.
He was also removed from the WWE Superstars mobile game at the time.
Lesnar is known for taking extended breaks from WWE and loves spending his time hunting and farming around his home in Saskatchewan, Canada.
He last faced Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam in August and is not scheduled to appear at WrestleMania 40, but there’s always the possibility of a surprise.
His former manager, Paul Heyman, did mention Lesnar’s name in his Hall of Fame induction speech Friday night.
