Trump administration restoring legal status of international students after legal challenges to visa crackdown

The Trump administration said it would retreat after many court agendas. To crack down Legal status of international students in the United States

A lawyer representing the government said in many cases the legal status of international students will be restored and the immigration customs enforcement will establish better procedures to determine which one should be fired.

“It’s clear that the Trump administration has planned to revenge Biden for four years into the immigration system.”

Dozens of cases have been filed following the decision to terminate hundreds of student visas and other immigration permits.

Some students claimed they were told to leave the country to lead to a tiny violation, while others say they don’t understand why they are being asked to leave. Some claimed they were hiding in orders.

US lawyer Aide Elizabeth Klan reads statement On restoring legal status in Oakland, California. A similar statement concerns student and exchange visitors information systems, and in other cases others have read it.

“ICE is developing a policy that provides a framework for termination of Sevis Record,” the statement reads. “Until such policies are issued, the plaintiff’s Sevis Records (and other similarly located plaintiffs) in this case will be re-energized if not currently active, and ICE will not modify the record solely based on the discovery of the NCIC that led to the termination of the recent SEVIS record.”

The Associated Press said the termination affected around 1,200 students, some responded by leaving the country.

One lawyer for the fired status student said President Donald Trump plotted the decision as a kind of revenge against the immigration system during former President Joe Biden’s first and only term.

“Now it’s clear that the Trump administration has planned to revenge on the immigration system for four years,” said Jath Shao, a Cleveland-based immigration lawyer. “But when some brave students and lawyers went to court — the administration’s advocates were unable or unwilling to explain the rationale.”

Democrats and other critics in the administration have accused Trump of acting unconstitutionally in some of the actions taken to fulfill his promises to mass deportation.
