First appeared on FOX: Former President Donald Trump has issued a major endorsement in what is expected to be one of the most closely watched Senate races of the year.
President Trump announced in a Truth Social post on Sunday that he is endorsing former U.S. Army Captain Sam Brown to face off against incumbent Democratic Senator Jacky Rosen in the November election.
“Sam Brown is a fearless American patriot and Purple Heart recipient who has proven he has ‘pure grit’ and courage in the fight against enemies both foreign and domestic. Sam is now running for United States Senate in the great state of Nevada in large part because he knows that the evil Joe Biden and the radical left are a threat to democracy,” Trump wrote.

“Our country can no longer stand with this corrupt and incompetent ‘President’ in charge. As your next Senator, Sam will work to secure our borders, end immigrant crime, stop inflation, grow our economy, strongly support our outstanding military and veterans, protect the Second Amendment which is constantly under attack, and restore peace through strength…” he added.
Following the endorsement, Brown thanked Trump in a statement to Fox News Digital.
“President Trump, thank you for your leadership and support. I look forward to working with you to create a better future for all Nevadans when we both win in November!!” he said.
