President Trump announced on Sunday that the US will create cryptographic preparations to boost its growth industries.
“US Crypto-Reserve will raise this important industry after years of corrupt attacks by the Biden administration. As such, my executive order on digital assets has directed the presidential working group to advance crypto strategic protected areas, including XRP, SOL and ADA.” Trump posted to the Truth Society.
Trump has said the United States will be “global crypto capital.”
His announcement comes shortly after the White House announced it would welcome cryptocurrency industry experts at its first summit on March 7th.
Participants include founders, CEOs and industry investors.
One of Trump's first executive orders said it plans to “responsible growth” and use of “digital assets” and technology.
Trump's Digital Assets Working Group has a six-month deadline to submit recommendations on regulatory and legislative proposals to the president surrounding the industry.
Trump previously dismissed Crypto as a scam, but he has embraced the industry through his latest campaign.
