New text messages between emergency services officials in Beaver County, Pennsylvania, show how understaffed they were before an assassin tried to shoot former President Donald Trump and others at a rally earlier this month, killing one spectator.
During discussions between team leaders from emergency services called to assist with the rally, several people, who declined to be named, discussed staffing shortages.

In text messages obtained by Fox News Digital, one leader said his team was too busy to attend the rally and “everyone else is either at work, on vacation or injured.”
