At a press conference, the reporter asked, “How quickly do you want to close the Ministry of Education?”
Trump said, “Yeah, I want you to close it soon. Look, the Department of Education is a big fraudulent job.”
“It's about removing these institutions entirely and kicking education back to the state. That's what it means. That's what it means.
Hostin said, “It's not really about saving money.”
Co-host Joy Behar said “No.”
“I think there's a much more malicious reason,” Hostin said.
Behar said, “Which is it?”
“Without education, we get cheaper labor. What they want to do is to spend more on educated workers, which is a permanent lower class, permanently cheaper in the US.” I think it's about creating a workforce. That's the bottom line and that's what they're doing.”
