Trump Comments on “The Apprentice” Return

President Donald Trump has responded to speculation regarding a potential revival of “The Apprentice,” with his son Donald Trump Jr. possibly taking the lead. During a recent press conference in the Oval Office, Trump addressed the matter when asked about the show’s return to television.

He casually remarked, “Well, I’ve heard about that.” Trump reflected on the show’s immense success, stating, “We’ve had a huge success. ‘The Apprentice’ has been a huge success for 14 seasons. So I had heard a little bit about that.” He seems optimistic, albeit a bit playful, saying, “Let’s see what happens. He’s a good guy. Probably good. He’s got a little charisma. That son of a bitch needs a little charisma.” It’s a light-hearted yet revealing insight into his views on his son’s capabilities.

“The Apprentice” originally debuted in 2004, with Trump as its host, and he stayed in that role until 2015. The show aired multiple seasons, including celebrity editions, before concluding in 2017. The series revolves around contestants competing in business tasks to win significant job opportunities.

Although Donald Trump Jr. has never been a reality TV star, he does have a history in the family business, having served as executive vice president in real estate development and acquisitions. Additionally, he actively participated in his father’s campaign and has remained a public supporter throughout Trump’s administration. He has also ventured into writing and maintains a public presence through media engagements and speaking events.
