WASHINGTON – President Donald Trump and several members of his cabinet torched CNN’s Kaitlan Collins and asked if the administration would seek the return of suspected MS-13 members and El Salvadoran national Kilmar Abrego Garcia.
Trump, Attorney General Pam Bondy, White House Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy and Homeland Security, Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Salvador President Naive Buquere took Collins on duty Monday in an oval office, explaining that it would be up to El Salvador to determine the fate of Abrego Garcia. Immigration attorneys allege he was mistakenly deported.
Speaking after Bondi, two immigration courts said they ruled Abrego Garcia was an MS-13 member, Miller said:
As Pam said, there are illegal aliens in El Salvador. Regarding you, he is a citizen of El Salvador, so it’s very arrogant to even suggest that the American media will tell El Salvador how to treat his citizens as a starting point.
“When President Trump declared MS-13 to be a foreign terrorist organization, it meant he was no longer eligible under federal law… for all forms of immigration relief in the United States,” Miller said.
Miller added that the district court directing the administration to bring Abrego Garcia back to the United States has been unanimously overturned by the Supreme Court.
The issue was completely reversed by a district court judge, who tried to inform the administration that they needed to lure the citizens of El Salvador to return here. The issue was brought before the Supreme Court, which stated that the district court order is illegal and that its main component is nine zero (unanimous). Children’s children are engaged in the most wilderness activities in the world. And I can promise you, if he was your neighbor, you will move quickly.
After Trump highlighted the 9-0 ruling, Miller emphasized that there is no scenario that would bring Abrego Garcia, who lives legally in the United States.
“As Pam said, this ruling stated that if this individual is sent back to our country at El Salvador’s sole discretion, we can banish him a second time.
Bukel called Collins’ question “idiot.”
“The question is ridiculous. How can we smuggle terrorists into the US?” Bukel shot Collins. “We have no power to bring him back to the US.”
Another reporter asked about releasing him to El Salvador.
In other words, we don’t really like to release terrorists into our country. We have transformed the world’s murderous capital into the safest country in the Western Hemisphere. Do you want us to return to free criminals so that we can return to the world’s murder capital? That won’t happen.
Trump gestured to reporters, “They want to have criminals released in our country. These are sick people.”
Rubio also took Collins to work following Buquel’s remarks, and she stuck to her questions and forced Trump to close her down.
“How long do you have to answer this question?” Trump asked.
Why not say, “Isn’t it great to keep criminals away from our country?” “Why can’t you say that? ” he asked. “Why do you go over and over again. That’s why no one sees you anymore. You know, you’re not reliable.”
