Trump Calls Democrat Political Prosecution a ‘Terrible Precedent,’ Like ‘Third-World Countries’

Former President Donald Trump said Tuesday on Newsmax TV’s “The Greg Kelly Report” that Democrats are making America look like a Third World country by indicting him because he’s winning in the polls.

“Could this be a pure positive? There’s a lot of money being raised, a lot of support being shown. Could this be a pure positive?” Kelly said.

“They’re a terrible people. They’re terrible, terrible evil. They’re a terrible, terrible, cruel people. Nobody has said this case should ever happen. Mr. Bragg didn’t want it to happen. Nobody wanted it to happen until I decided to run and I had a big lead over anybody, I had a big lead over Biden in the polls, too,” Trump said. “But this is terrible. It’s a terrible precedent for our country.”

He continued, “Like, the attack on Hillary’s phone and everything that she’s done, that’s really terrible, right? But wouldn’t it be terrible to put the president’s wife and the former secretary of state, think about it, the former secretary of state, the president, the president’s wife in prison? Wouldn’t that be terrible? But they want to do it. I mean, it’s a terrible, terrible path that they’re trying to lead us down. And there’s a very good chance that that’s going to happen to them.”

Trump added: “The road they’re leading us down is a very bad road. It’s the same as any third world country. Look at this sham trial. I’ve done nothing wrong.”
