The Trump campaign's social media accounts went off the air Saturday after the season premiere of “Saturday Night Live” (SNL) aired a skit about an assassination attempt on former President Trump.
James Austin Johnson played Trump outside in the cold, referencing the first assassination attempt on July 13 in Butler, Pennsylvania, and portraying the former president at a rally.
“Where on earth are you all going? Where are you going? It looks like you're leaving, but the door is locked. Come back – we're having fun. Someone cries, 'Bing, bong.' Other than that, we love gatherings. Bing at me, bing, do you know it happened because of the rhetoric of the radical left? They say it's black in the cauldron that I accuse Democrats of inciting violence.” said Johnson.

Jost then brought up the subject again, referring to a recent interview with former first lady Melania Trump.
“Speaking of which, Melania Trump gave a rare TV interview this week in which she accused Democrats of creating the conditions that led to the assassination attempt on Trump, which is ridiculous. When Democrats want to eliminate a presidential candidate, Get the job done,” Jost said. Said.
