Trump cautions Iran against responding following threats of a severe attack.

President Trump issued a warning that the U.S. would respond to Iran with “force never seen before” if the Iranian regime persisted in its attacks on nearly 30 U.S. military installations.

“Iran just announced plans to launch a severe attack against us today, something they claim will be harder than before,” Trump said on Truth Social on Sunday.

“They really should think twice, because if they do proceed, we will strike back with unprecedented force! Appreciate your attention to this matter!”

On Sunday morning, reports emerged that Iran was gearing up for what it called “the most devastating offensive operation in the history of the Islamic Republic’s armed forces” against U.S. bases, according to state media.

Fars News Agency released the statement around 6:15 a.m. local time, which translates to 9:15 p.m. Eastern time the previous day.

“The most devastating offensive operation against occupied territories and American terrorist bases will soon commence,” the warning indicated.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps claimed it was preparing further retaliatory measures targeting U.S. installations across the Middle East, as reported by state media.

The Revolutionary Guards stated, “The military will enact harsh revenge that differs from previous strategies.”

The so-called “sixth wave” of its “Operation True Promise 4” reportedly initiated a large-scale missile and drone attack on these bases.

Media outlets claimed that among the targets were Israel’s Telnov Air Base, military headquarters in Israel, and a significant defense facility in Tel Aviv.

U.S. military officials have yet to confirm any imminent attacks.

This warning from Iran followed the U.S. and Israeli military’s Operation Epic Fury, which resulted in the death of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei along with numerous high-ranking military officials.

Approximately 15 hours after the operation began, Trump announced on Truth Social that “Khamenei, one of history’s most malevolent figures, is dead.” He described this event as justice not only for the Iranian populace but also for countless Americans and others who suffered at the hands of Khamenei and his brutal associates.

An Israeli official informed Fox News that the morning’s initial strikes had eliminated over 40 high-ranking Iranian security and regime figures, with the surprise attack on Khamenei’s compound reportedly taking the lives of up to 10 senior leaders.

The strike also claimed the lives of the ousted 86-year-old leader’s daughter-in-law and son-in-law.

In retaliation for the attacks on Saturday, Iran conducted several strikes targeting nearly a dozen locations in the Middle East, including the U.S. Navy’s 5th Fleet in Bahrain.

No American casualties were reported, although at least six individuals were killed in the Iranian assault.
