Trump chides Maine governor at CPAC after clash at White House

National Harbor, Maryland – President Trump takes place at Maine Governor Janet Mills (D) at a conservative political action meeting on Saturday after the two clashed in the White House over transgender athletes in women's sports I've done it.

“We saw Maine yesterday, right? The governor of Maine pulled a boo from the audience and said, “She's fighting for men to play women's sports. Put a man who has transitioned to women into a box. Have you ever seen what happens to a woman when you do? Have you ever seen what happens?

“Let her do that fight, let them do that fight,” Trump said.

Mills played against Trump at the National Governors Association session at the White House on Friday. From competing in sports for women and girls.

Trump asked the governor directly during the session whether the state would comply with the orders.

“We're federal law. You're not going to get federal funds, so you're better off doing that,” Trump said.

“See you in court,” replied Mills.
