Trump criticizes Lara Trump's guest, Charlamagne tha God, following Epstein remark

President Trump expressed his displeasure towards Charlamagne Tha God, labeling him a “low IQ individual” and a “three bag,” after the radio personality’s comments on Lara Trump’s Fox News program concerning the Epstein scandal, which he suggested could impact the Republican Party.

Charlamagne, whose real name is Leonard Larry McKelvey, appeared on “My Views” with Lara Trump and claimed that “traditional conservatives” are attempting to regain control of the GOP.

Trump clearly disagreed.

“The incredibly talented Lara Trump, with her successful show, hosted that racist Charlamagne,” Trump remarked, sharing his thoughts on Truth Social. “Why is he allowed to call himself ‘God’? It makes no sense.”

He continued, criticizing Charlamagne’s intelligence: “He clearly doesn’t understand what he’s saying or anything about me or my accomplishments.”

While Trump did not specify his grievances regarding Charlamagne’s comments on Lara’s show, it followed Charlamagne’s critique of the Trump administration’s delay in releasing files related to the Epstein case.

Charlamagne suggested that the Epstein issue represents a “political coup” unfolding within the Republican Party, claiming many people are unaware of the situation.

Recently, the MAGA base raised concerns about a Department of Justice and FBI memo dated July 6.

Trump has criticized elements within his own base for making this an issue, also blaming Democrats for perpetuating an “Epstein hoax.”

“I think traditional conservatives are trying to reclaim the Republican Party,” Charlamagne stated. “They see the Epstein case as a way to win back support without losing favor with the base.”

He argued that Republicans are aware this issue could alienate followers, suggesting they might try to keep the base satisfied while reclaiming control.

Despite calling Trump a “once-in-a-lifetime political juggernaut,” Charlamagne criticized his presidency, noting that many Americans continue to struggle financially.

“People are hurting now,” he asserted. “He promised immediate change; it should have started on day one.”

He also highlighted former UN ambassador Nikki Haley as a potential Republican ally.

Trump, dissatisfied with Charlamagne’s assessment, accused him of lacking knowledge about his accomplishments in office.

“He didn’t realize I helped reduce nuclear capabilities in India, Pakistan, or Iran, or that my administration addressed open borders and built a strong economy with falling prices and inflation,” Trump stated.

He concluded by questioning whether Charlamagne would support President Biden or Vice President Harris, reflecting on a decline he perceives in the country since the last election. “Now, we’re supposed to be the ‘hottest’ country anywhere. MAGA!!!”
