Trump Directs Government to Stop Using Technology from 'RADICAL LEFT' Company Right Away

Trump’s Stance on AI Company Anthropic

On Friday, former President Donald Trump labeled the technology developed by AI firm Anthropic as “woke” and instructed the federal government to halt its usage immediately.

Anthropic, the creator of the AI chatbot Claude, faced backlash from Army Secretary Pete Hegseth, who had granted the military until February 27 to allow the company “broad access” to its AI models. Hegseth even warned that Anthropic could be seen as a “supply chain risk,” according to reports. Trump expressed his views in a bold post on Truth Social, declaring, “America will never allow radical leftist corporations to dictate how our great military fights and wins wars!”

In his post, Trump criticized Anthropic, stating they made a significant error by trying to influence the Defense Department and insisting on adherence to the Code of Service over the Constitution. He went on to say their motives threaten American lives and national security.

The former president directed “all federal agencies” to stop using Anthropic’s technology, asserting, “We don’t need it, we don’t want it, and we will never do business with them again!” He also mentioned that agencies, including the Army, will have a six-month period to phase out their use of Anthropic products. He warned the company to “get its act together” and threatened to use presidential authority if their services do not meet expectations during the transition.

Hegseth shared a screenshot of Trump’s post on the platform X, thanking him for addressing the issue and tagging Anthropic and its CEO, Dario Amodei. In a recent statement, Amodei emphasized the critical role of AI in safeguarding the U.S. and other democracies while acknowledging concerns about its potential to undermine democratic values. He mentioned issues like domestic surveillance and autonomous weapons as areas of concern and stated that the company could not meet the Department of War’s request while still being ready to contribute to national security efforts.

Interestingly, Anthropic has connections with the Democratic Party, including several officials from the Biden administration in leadership roles. Despite these ties, Anthropic has reportedly sought to strengthen relationships with the Trump administration as late as April 2025, aiming to provide military access to their AI technology, Claude.
