A recent report shows Elon Musk’s Office of Government Efficiency (DOGE) is reportedly cross-checking federal data to prevent illegal foreigners from receiving housing and employment benefits.
Doge’s efforts are supported by President Donald Trump signature Tuesday’s President’s Memorandum aims to prevent illegal foreigners “and other unqualified people” from receiving Social Security Act benefits. The White House fact sheet explains that the memorandum “directs the administration to prevent ineligible aliens from receiving funds from the Social Security Act program.”
The fact sheet added that the presidential memorandum from Trump will “expand the Social Security Agency (SSA) fraud prosecutor’s program to at least 50 US lawyers’ offices and establish Medicare and Medicaid fraud handling programs at 15 US lawyers’ offices.”
“The memorandum requires SSA inspectors to investigate revenue reports of individuals over 100 who have had their IDSA records unmatched, and to combat identity theft,” the factsheet continued.

The outlet said “The White House did not reply to requests for comment,” but a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) official explained that “the government will ultimately share information across the federal government to resolve the issue.”
According to the outlet, staff at the Housing and Urban Development Agency explained that they “speaked in anonymity” and “the staff cited rules banning mixed-status households.”
