The Department of Justice (DOJ) is reallocating funds that were initially designated for groups supporting transgender ideology and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives to bolster law enforcement efforts, as confirmed by Fox News Digital.
Officials from the DOJ stated they “will not waste” DEI funds under Attorney General Pam Bondi.
An official mentioned that under Bondi’s leadership, the DOJ will prioritize spending on initiatives that actually enhance public safety, asserting, “We use money to drive criminals off the streets, seize drugs, and, in some cases, fund programs that have a tangible impact on crime victims.”
On her first day in office, Bondi took steps to terminate all DEI initiatives within the department and requested the removal of DEI references from training programs, adjusting the focus towards adoption and promotion that emphasizes race and gender standards.
After one month in her role, Bondi told Fox News Digital that the DOJ is actively involved in arresting violent terrorists, dismantling cartel networks, and distancing itself from DEI influences in American institutions.
“We will continue to work every day to advance President Trump’s agenda for a safer America,” Bondi remarked.
