UFC CEO Dana White, a longtime supporter and friend of President-elect Trump, discusses how the new administration will strengthen the U.S. economy and unite the nation.
UFC president Dana White spoke passionately about President-elect Trump in Washington on Sunday night, just hours before the inauguration.
White told supporters at Capital One Arena, home of the Washington Wizards, Washington Capitals and Georgetown Hoyas, that Trump has overcome all the adversity a presidential candidate might face to win the election. He talked about his victory.

“The people have said it loud and clear: America wants President Trump back in the White House. “It's an amazing accomplishment and an incredible comeback story.”
“Think about everything President Trump had to go through to get back here. All the powerful forces that tried to bring him down, the mainstream media, partisan prosecutors, assassins. What the man went through is just insane. And the president alone could have overcome all these obstacles and all these attacks and still come out victorious.
At the end of the day, White said, Trump is the “winner.”

“But you know what? That's just who he is. This guy is a winner. And I say this all the time. He's the toughest, most resilient guy I've ever met. , nothing was going to stop him from fighting. It's hard for the country he loves.
“He embodies the essence of what it means to be American. We are the toughest, most resilient people on the planet, and when we come together, nothing can stop us.”
Mr. White and Mr. Trump have had a strong relationship over the years. Trump was one of White's biggest supporters in the UFC's early days. Meanwhile, White supports Trump's candidacy for president.
