Trump gains worldwide acclaim for facilitating Gaza peace agreement: ‘Nobel Prize for Trump’

International Praise for Trump’s Role in Israel-Hamas Ceasefire

President Donald Trump is receiving global recognition for his significant efforts in negotiating a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas, with many suggesting he should be considered for the Nobel Peace Prize.

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer released a statement showing gratitude towards Trump and regional allies, emphasizing that both parties need to adhere to the proposed peace plan.

“We are relieved to hear that an agreement has been achieved in the initial stage of President Trump’s Gaza peace plan. This brings a deep sense of relief worldwide, especially for the hostages, their families, and the civilians in Gaza who have faced immense hardships over the past two years,” Starmer expressed on Wednesday.

“It is crucial that this agreement is implemented swiftly and that all restrictions on essential aid to Gaza be lifted immediately. We urge all involved to meet their past commitments, end the conflict, and set the groundwork for a fair and enduring resolution and a path towards lasting peace,” he added.

French President Emmanuel Macron also made a statement, expressing “great hope for the hostages and their families, as well as for the Palestinian people in Gaza and the entire region.”

“I welcome the overnight agreement to release the hostages and establish a ceasefire in Gaza, applauding the President’s efforts,” he noted in a post on Thursday.

“All parties must adhere to the terms of this agreement. It should signal the end of hostilities and pave the way for a political resolution based on a two-state solution. France is ready to help achieve this objective, and we will discuss this agreement with our international partners in Paris this afternoon.”

EU Commissioner Ursula von der Leyen and UN Secretary-General António Guterres echoed similar sentiments.

Families of Israeli hostages in Gaza expressed their gratitude to President Trump. According to a video from the Hostage and Missing Families Forum, Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick was with the families when he called the president.

When the call was announced, shouts of “Thank you!” could be heard from several family members.

“I heard someone say, ‘You did it!’ Another added, ‘This is amazing!'”

“Mr. President, we have faith in you. We know you have done so much for us since you took office, even prior to that. We believe in your mission until all 48 hostages are returned,” a family member conveyed.

“God bless you, Mr. President. God bless America,” another family member added.

Following the announcement of the peace deal, Israelis celebrated in Tel Aviv’s Hostage Square, chanting “Nobel Prize for Trump!”

Eric Trump shared a post on X, urging people to “Retweet if you believe it.” His post regarding Trump possibly deserving the Nobel Peace Prize received significant engagement.

Lutnick also reiterated that “President Trump absolutely should win the Nobel Peace Prize.”

The president announced on Wednesday night that the two nations agreed on the first phase of the peace plan, stating, “This means all hostages will be released immediately, and Israel will pull back its forces to the agreed line, marking the first step towards a strong, lasting peace.”
