Trump goes to UFC 327 in Miami following Iran war ceasefire deal

Trump Attends UFC Event in Miami

President Donald Trump made a notable appearance at UFC 327 in Miami on Saturday evening, which was his first outing at a sporting event since the onset of the Iran conflict. He’s been a familiar face at UFC and other martial arts events during his presidency, including his ongoing 2024 campaign.

Back in 2025, he was present for UFC 316 in Miami. He had also attended UFC 302 in June and UFC 309 in November 2024. Interestingly, his last major sporting event before this weekend was the College Football Playoff national championship game featuring Indiana and Miami at Hard Rock Stadium on January 19.

Trump was notably missing from events like this year’s Super Bowl and the Winter Olympics in Italy, particularly following the beginning of the Iran war. However, following a cease-fire agreement announced on Tuesday, he returned to the arena. Before heading to Miami, he spoke at the White House addressing the situation with Iran.

“We’re in very deep negotiations with Iran,” Trump conveyed to reporters, adding, “We defeated Iran militarily. It makes no difference to me whether we reach an agreement or not, and the reason is that whether we listen to fake news or not, we won.”
