Trump hammers Kamala Harris on immigration and the economy during town hall with Sean Hannity

Former President Donald Trump has issued a scathing critique of the Democratic presidential candidate, predicting another Great Depression if she is elected president.

Trump made the remarks during a Wednesday night appearance on Fox News with Sean Hannity in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, an event that was broadcast live and pre-recorded.

“This is going to be a 1929-like depression. She has no idea what the hell she's doing.”

Hannity played a series of clips showing Harris' past incorrect statements on immigration, giving Trump the opportunity to blast her and the Biden administration over the border crisis.

“This is the worst border in the history of the world!” Trump said.

He promised to carry out “the largest deportation in the history of our country” if elected, drawing thunderous applause from the audience.

Hannity also prepared questions to grill Trump about Harris' comments that she would ban fracking, a key issue in the key battleground state of Pennsylvania.

At one point, Trump accused Harris of taking notes during an interview with CNN's Dana Bash and of being given questions in advance.

“I know all about the notes!” he said. “I don't care if everyone knows them. But she shouldn't have taken notes. After every question, she looked down! She was taking notes! That means she knew the questions.”

Trump predicted that if Harris was elected and implemented her far-left tax proposals, the United States would fall into another 1929-style Great Depression.

“If we let the Trump tax cuts lapse, which she wants to end, we'll suffer the biggest tax increase in history,” he said. Claimed“If she becomes president, this country will be in a recession. Like 1929. This will be a 1929-like recession. She has no idea what she's doing.”

The hour-long special was just the first of a two-part town hall, with the second presumably allowing the audience to ask the former president questions.
