Trump Injured At Rally, Secret Service Confirms ‘He Is Safe’

Updated 3:55 p.m.The Secret Service confirmed that Trump was safe and taken to a local hospital.

Stephen Chan, a spokesman for President Donald Trump, said the former president was “in good spirits.”

“President Trump thanks the police and emergency responders for their swift action in response to this heinous act. He is in good spirits and is being examined at a local medical facility. More details will be released at a later date,” Chan said in a statement.

Former President Donald Trump fell to the ground on stage at a rally in Pennsylvania as gunshots were heard.

On Saturday, footage showed Trump collapsing after gunshots were heard in the background.

Trump was seen touching his neck before hiding, and his Secret Service agents rushed onto the stage to cover 45 people.Number Trump stood up behind Secret Service guards, his ears bloody, and signaled to the crowd he was OK before leaving the stage.

He was quickly taken away.
