Trump instructs Bondi to make pertinent grand jury transcripts in the Epstein case available

On Thursday, former President Trump announced that he had instructed Attorney General Pam Bondy to release testimonies from a prominent court pertaining to Jeffrey Epstein, the financier and convicted sexual predator.

“In light of the excessive media attention surrounding Jeffrey Epstein, I have asked Attorney General Pam Bondi to compile all relevant court testimonies, pending court approval. This ongoing scam perpetuated by Democrats should come to an end,” Trump stated on the Society of Truth.

Bondi responded, saying, “President Trump – we are prepared to move through court tomorrow and seal the transcript of the Great Jue Court,” as she posted on X.

A number of Trump supporters are demanding more transparency after the FBI and Justice Department did not release a client list associated with Epstein. They also reiterated claims surrounding Epstein’s 2019 death in a New York City prison, which was ruled a suicide. For years, various prominent figures in Trump’s camp have promoted conspiracy theories suggesting that such a list may reveal connections between Epstein and notable Democrats.

Epstein, who was convicted in multiple cases concerning the trafficking of young girls, associated with powerful individuals, including Trump, former President Clinton, British Prince Andrew, and various high-profile figures. Epstein’s associate, Ghislaine Maxwell, was also found guilty of sex trafficking.

Trump has voiced his frustration over the ongoing focus on the Epstein situation, even among some loyal supporters. He chastised what he termed “weak guys” and “silly Republicans” for their attention to the case, suggesting that they had been “deceived” by Democrats to breathe life into the narrative.

Additionally, Bondi has faced criticism from Trump supporters who argue that her efforts regarding the Epstein matter have been insufficient.

The President’s directive coincided with actions from the House Rules Committee relating to a party resolution aimed at obtaining some details about the Epstein Files.

It’s currently unclear whether GOP Leadership intends to hold a vote on the Epstein measure.

Trump’s announcement followed a report from the Wall Street Journal that detailed an alleged letter he sent to Epstein on his 50th birthday in 2003.

The letter reportedly concluded with, “Happy birthday – it could be another great secret every day.”

Later that evening, Trump indicated he would be suing the Wall Street Journal over the article, and soon afterward, his allies rallied to question the credibility of the publication and its claims.
