Former President Donald Trump is “finally going to hold Vice President Kamala Harris accountable,” according to Caroline Leavitt, national spokesperson for Trump's 2024 presidential campaign. Breitbart News SaturdayThey discussed Harris' radical record ahead of Tuesday night's debate.
“Kamala Harris had better be prepared to defend not only her record as Joe Biden's vice president for the last four years, but also her record as district attorney of San Francisco and attorney general of California,” she began, emphasizing the importance of what Harris will have to defend to the American people on Tuesday night.
“President Trump is finally going to hold her accountable. It's been nearly 50 days since Kamala Harris was sworn in as the Democratic nominee. She hasn't given a solo interview. She hasn't held a solo press conference. If she thinks hiding out in the woods with her campaign team this weekend and getting her allies to help her prepare is enough to defend her dismal record from President Trump, who is proving to be one of the best debaters in modern political history, she should think again,” Leavitt warned, noting Harris's radical change of attitude.
Levitt added that the American public doesn't believe Harris' lies, and that her campaign is trying to “moderate” her overall image, explaining, “They're trying to fool people into believing she's a moderate Democrat before the election, which she's not.”
“Kamala Harris is the most left-wing Democratic candidate in American history and has been elected the most liberal senator in the United States. If you look at the policies she has supported throughout her career, as she said in her CNN interview, her values have not changed,” Leavitt said.
She added that it means Harris will “implement a ban on fracking, which would be devastating to more than 100,000 Pennsylvania jobs.”
“This is going to destroy jobs. This is going to cause catastrophic inflation. This is going to raise the cost of living in this country,” she said, further detailing the disastrous policies Harris would undoubtedly implement if elected.

“Kamala Harris will abolish bail, a policy she has consistently supported since her time as district attorney, and as vice president of the United States, a policy on violent criminals. Consider the border crisis she has directly overseen for the past four years, with nearly 20 million illegal immigrants entering our country,” she said.
“That's more than the combined population of 47 states,” Levitt said, putting the matter in perspective even further. He added that many of these illegal immigrants turn out to be murderers, rapists and criminals.
“We have gang members from Venezuela,” she said, referring to an occupied apartment building in Aurora, Colorado.
“Residents are having to flee their apartments and a gang member currently involved in a shooting has just been released on $1,000 bail thanks to the sanctuary city policies supported by Kamala Harris. If Kamala Harris is elected, we could be in for four more years of this,” Leavitt warned.
“She wants to turn America into a sanctuary for criminals and illegal immigrants. It will be a nightmare for the American people. In Kamala Harris' America, taxpaying, law-abiding Americans are put at the bottom,” she said, warning that this situation would continue if she successfully deceived the American people.
Returning to the debate, Levitt pointed out that former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, who “defeated” Kamala on the debate stage, is in Trump's campaign.
“She understands Kamala, she knows her history very well, and she's been a great teammate for President Trump as he prepares for this debate,” she said.
“But President Trump is preparing for this debate because he prepares every day on the campaign trail, Matt. He sits down for hours on podcast interviews with hostile hosts who don't like him very much. … He's preparing for this debate and he'll be asked questions directly by voters, who are his most important audience,” she said, adding that Trump will use the debate as an opportunity to highlight his “record of successful border security,” low inflation, “record low interest and mortgage rates” and “world peace.”
